Partnerships for Careers and Curriculum Action Team (PCCAT)

Purpose:

  • To assist and support schools and partner student support services with innovative curriculum through Vocational Education and Community Partnerships.
  • To assist schools and student support services with students’ transition and personal career development.
  • To assist Quality LinCS (QL) and the Industry Skills Program (ISP) for Inner Southern Adelaide, with the future development and sustainability of regional VET ensuring quality training for students and teachers.

Membership:

School staff responsible for and who provide leadership for:

  • Senior School Curriculum
  • Vocational Education
  • Community Partnerships
  • Student Career Advice
  • Transition

Priorities Focus:

  • Professional development organisation e.g. up skilling of Career Counsellors.
  • Parents and Careers information sessions.
  • Industry placements of teachers.
